Bought in 1967, this property is the historical heart of my Vineyards. Château Du GRAND BARRAIL is located in Plassac on hills overlooking the GIRONDE.

• Capacity : 3820 hls – 150 oak barrels
• Varietals :
  Red vines : Merlot (65%) - Cabernet Sauvignon (30%) - Malbec (5%)
  White vines : Sémillon (50%) - Sauvignon (50%)
• Vineyard average age : 30 years
• Nature of the soil : Clayey-limestone, gravelly-limestone

Notes :
Red wines : Deep red colour, the wines are rich and steady with silky tannins.
White wines : Fine and fruity with grapefruits aromas, long in mouth due to semillon.
